From Lake Como to Venice: How Italy Inspired My Next Big Venture, Creater Magazine
If you’ve been following my vlogs on YouTube, you know I recently took a trip to Italy. On paper, it was a much-needed break from the daily grind in Washington, D.C., a chance to step outside, travel, and just live life. But if you watch the footage from our time on the sparkling waters of Lake Como or standing inside the golden, sprawling halls of the Doge’s Palace in Venice, you’ll see it became something much bigger.

Italy didn't just give me a getaway—it reignited my creative fire and sparked the birth of my newest venture: Creater Magazine, launching on January 2nd, 2027.
Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone
Sometimes, to see your vision clearly, you have to completely change your perspective. Back home, it’s easy to get caught in the same routines—the same spots, the same scenery. Standing on the hotel balcony in Lake Como, watching the sunlight dance across the water while private wooden speedboats zipped past, I felt an instant shift.
"This is how you live life. You just pick your place on the map and you say, 'Hey, I want to go there.' And you go."
We managed to land our own private boat tour across the lake (shoutout to Vanessa for making it happen when every dock was fully booked!). Riding top-down on the water, taking in the mountain backdrop, sipping champagne, and driving past historic villas where movies like James Bond and Star Wars were filmed—it felt straight out of a luxury editorial.

That exact feeling of high-art aesthetics and pure creative freedom was the first spark.
Rediscovering My Creative Roots
Before I ever picked up a camera to record long-form vlogs or stream, my very first passion in the creative space was photography. I spent years behind the lens learning composition, lighting, and storytelling through still images.
Over time, as I shifted heavily into video content and digital platforms, that raw artistic side took a back seat. But walking through Venice—crossing the Rialto Bridge, listening to live classical music outside Caffè Florian in St. Mark’s Square, and staring up at the massive gold-leaf ceilings in the Doge's Palace—I felt an overwhelming urge to return to my artistic roots.
When you’re surrounded by centuries of master architecture, custom leatherwork, and timeless craftsmanship, you realize that true art isn't just about capturing a moment; it's about elevating it.
Introducing Creater Magazine
Standing inside those grand Venetian halls, surrounded by all that history and grandeur, I knew it was time to make it official.
Content creators, streamers, and digital artists work endlessly to build communities and redefine culture, but we don't always have a dedicated, elevated platform that celebrates our craft in a sophisticated, artistic way. That’s where Creater Magazine comes in.
Why the Name "Creater"?
It’s spelled C-R-E-A-T-E-R intentionally:
"ATE": Because every time we drop content, host a stream, or build a campaign—we ate that.
"ATE": It also stands for "Art Trumps Everything."
Creater Magazine is designed to give digital creators, streamers, and visual artists a real voice and a premium platform. We’re going to be covering celebrity creator news, conducting deep-dive interviews, and hosting high-concept photo shoots that bring this exact European editorial energy to life.
What’s Next & How to Get Involved
While the official launch date is January 2nd, 2027, the work is already happening behind the scenes. We're planning launch events, scouting locations for upcoming editorial shoots, and getting ready to highlight the most exciting minds in digital culture.
If you’re a content creator, streamer, or artist who wants to be featured, interviewed, or involved in our upcoming photo shoots, now is the time to connect.
